Identify?

Can anyone identify these little dolls?
I thought they were called Little Me's. I have searched and searched to no avail. If you do not know what they are called can you lead me to a site where I can post a picture and see if anyone else can help?
All three of my daughters played with them circa 1980's and I would love more for the grandchildren.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Cookie Anyone?

My family will tell you that I like to bake, not cook, bake!
We had a picnic for Memorial Day even though it was chilly and rainy.
OK an indoor picnic.
I made my famous Ranger Cookies.
No, they are not low fat.
No, they are not sugar free.
No, they are not good for you...
BUT
They are so yummy!
This recipe makes 6 dozen, that is 72 cookies!
Yep, you guessed it, they are all gone!
I did notice the zip lock bag box out on the counter;I think some went on a trip with the kids!

Here is the recipe.
Enjoy!!

Ranger Cookies

Beat well:
1 c. margarine
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs

Add:
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

Add:
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Rice Krispies
1-2 c. chocolate chips

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes on ungreased cookie sheet.  Makes about 6 dozen

Happy Sewing and Cooking!

I did not take your advice, so sorry!

Last February I asked your advice about flannel backing for my
Katie Jump Rope Quilt.
Thank you all for such wonderful advice.  You can read about it
as the advice will help others too.

But alas
Janie was too worried to take your advice!
After all this was my favorite fabric and a king size quilt.
I chickened out!!

I went with my Riley Blake Medium Check Yellow Gingham for the backing and Quilter's Dream Thin Batting.

I brought the quilt to a friend who has a long arm business and asked her to baste it for me.
She was so kind, not only did she baste it but she used hot pink thread so I could see it!!
I am now in the process of hand quilting. I hope to have it done by the end of the summer.
Here she is so far with her hot pink basting thread. It is so nice to quilt without pins!

Give up?

Bonnie Hunter!
You know from

What a lovely lady. She is kind, charming, knowledgeable, and funny.  One of the bees from the guild presented her with a quilt they had made and it brought tears to here eyes. I did not take many pictures as I was too engrossed with her presentation.
and what I did are badddd
Sorry!

She has such wonderful theories about using your stash.
She makes the math of quilting fun and easy to understand.
And, she is very generous...
Many free patterns are offered on her site.
Her post from her blog

Do you see me at the dinner?!

Such a fun night!

I am Trying, Really

I am trying really I am..
BUT
I just want my google reader!
I am using all three right now
Google Reader
Feedly
Bloglovin

I love that when I scroll down my posts on Google Reader they go away.
With Bloglovin I mark them as read , they turn gray but NEVER seem to go away!
On Feedly I can make the title say Pink, as I read the title changes to black and I can delete the post.

If they make me choose, I am going feedly.

How about you?
This is so frustrating!!
